Revelation
Unseen footprints from the past
Had led me to this princely shore
And here I sat and gazed out to the sea
Then in a pleasant melancholy
Quite unknown to me before
I somehow knew that here I ought to be
For in the distant dawn of time
Was in this sea our lives began
Together in one great and grand design
So now I sit here on the shore
And ponder on the master plan
That made of all - to be the kin of mine
If I am then with kin surround
Perhaps to me I'll hear them call
And then no more alone I'll ever be
And so I wait here on the shore
Close to the mother of us all
Close to this ageless and eternal sea.
